The cut the shop is built around. Clippers go all the way down to the skin at the sides and back, then we blend upward through the grades until the transition disappears. Done properly it takes longer than people expect — most of the work is in the blend, not the first pass.

Tell us where you want the fade to start: low, mid, or high. Low keeps more weight and grows out quietly. High sits above the temple and reads sharper for longer. If you're not sure, we'll show you on your own head before the clippers touch it.

A beard looks deliberate or it looks like you forgot about it, and the difference is the outline. We map the cheek line and the neckline to your jaw rather than a template, take the length down evenly, and clean up the edges so it holds its shape as it grows back.

Straight-razor finish on the neck and around the ears. Hot towel first, so the hair lifts and the razor doesn't drag. If you're growing it out, we'll shape it to the length you're heading for instead of cutting it back to where it is now.

First haircuts, school cuts, and the ones where the child has decided they want a pattern in the side. We go at their pace. If that means stopping halfway for a minute, we stop halfway for a minute — a rushed kid is a cut nobody's happy with.

Parents are welcome to sit alongside. We'll ask what the school allows before we take anything off the sides, so you don't get sent home over a line-up.

The full reset: fade, line-up and beard shaped in one sitting so the two actually meet. Hair and beard cut separately by different people on different days is how you end up with a gap at the sideburn.

Book this one when you've got somewhere to be — a wedding, a shoot, a first day. It's the version of you that photographs well.

For the week between cuts. We take the hairline back to crisp, clean the temples and the neck, and send you out looking like you've just been in the chair — because you have, for fifteen minutes.

Worth knowing: a line-up every week on a hairline that's already receding will pull it back faster. If that's your situation we'll tell you, and we'll do a softer edge instead.

The old way, done properly. Warm towel to open the skin, lather, a straight razor with the grain and then across it, a second towel, and a balm to close. Twenty minutes where nobody can reach you.

Come in with a few days of growth — a shave on a fresh shaved face is just irritation. If your skin is sensitive, say so at the start and we'll work with a lighter pass.
